Deutschland semester ticket

The semester ticket is for students whose universities have concluded a semester ticket contract with the VBB transport companies and the VBB. When you first enroll or re-register at the start of the semester, you will automatically receive all the information you need on how to get your ticket. 

Since April 1st, 2024, students at many universities in the states of Brandenburg and Berlin can receive the Deutschland semester ticket with nationwide validity on local transport. The Deutschland semester ticket is only issued digitally as a wallet or web ticket or as a VBB-fahrCard. It is possible to take a dog with you in the VBB area. The Deutschland semester ticket does not include bicycles. 

During ticket checks, the Deutschland semester ticket is only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID.
