The distance between Flughafen BER and Berlin Central Station is about 25 km.
The distance between BER Airport and Potsdam, the state capital, is about 40 km.
Getting to BER Airport is very easy. Depending on the time of day, there are various direct connections with the new Airport Express FEX, regional trains, local S-Bahn trains, buses and some IC (Intercity) connections. BER Airport can be reached from many places in Brandenburg with only one change in Berlin, Potsdam, Ludwigsfelde or Königs Wusterhausen.
The station "Flughafen BER" for long-distance, regional and suburban train and bus lines is located directly under Terminal 1 and offers more comfort for passengers and passengers due to the short connection to the main building. The following lines serve this station:

At Terminal 1, level E0, you will find the bus arrival and departure areas directly on the approach road. You can access the long-distance bus stop via Terminal 1, Level U1, at the Airport-City exit.

Yes, you can get to the airport at night, too. On the weekends with the suburban S-Bahn line S9 and daily with the following lines:

- N7: U Rathaus Spandau <> U Hermannplatz <> U Rudow <> Airport BER (at weekends, only between U Rudow and the airport)

The staffed Deutsche Bahn sales office is in Terminal 1, Level U1 and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets for long-distance DB trains can also be purchased at the DB Regio ticket machines in Terminal 1 on Levels E0 (baggage carousels), U1 and U2).
The railway station "Flughafen BER" for long-distance, regional and suburban train lines is under Terminal 1, Level U2. You can also enter the station via the square called Willy-Brandt-Platz.
At Terminal 1, the coach stops are located at the Airport City exit, which you can get to via the U1 Level. At Terminal 5, all coaches depart from the bus stops at Flughafen BER station – Terminal 5.
A taxi ride to Berlin city centre (e.g. to Alexanderplatz) takes 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, and costs about EUR 55-60.
